The process

The longing, the being, the conciousness. In nature, with the body, the thoughts, the feelings, and in the now. There it starts - in the moments in life, in the stillness and in between.

Some days, the idea of an artwork emerge in my thoughts while I'm just being, in the spaces in between all the other life continuing. Other days, it's just being with the clay in my hands or the camera in front of me, listening to the form and expression that want to come through.

I create both functional and sculptural pieces in stoneware clay, primarily using in hand-building techniques. I also create photographic art. The inspiration comes from my time in nature and now and then from flow of life.

'It begins with clay - soft, grounded and full of possibility. Under the patient hand a form begins to breathe. Not rushed, not forced. Just slowly shaped with intention and care.

A pattern takes shape - etched into the surface. It's a memory in motion. A reflection of the maker's touch.

Designed to breath life in your space - a quite moment of stillness, a gentle bloom of peace and a symbol of growth from within.'
